Verixxa | Copyright Policy
Last updated: 3 December 2025
1. Introduction
This Copyright Policy forms part of Verixxa’s legal and operational framework and must be read together with the Terms of Use, the Privacy and Data Policy, the Community and Safety Standards and the Disclosure Policy. Verixxa respects intellectual property rights and expects Users to do the same.
For the purposes of this Policy, “DMCA” means the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a United States copyright law that provides a notice and takedown process for online content and offers Safe Harbor protection to platforms that follow its requirements.
2. User Responsibility
Users may only upload or post content they own or have permission to use. This includes photos, images, videos, text, graphics, audio, and any other content submitted to the Platform. Users may not upload copyrighted or trademarked content without the owner’s authorization.
3. DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
If you believe your copyright has been infringed on the Platform, you may submit a notice that includes:
-
- Identification of the copyrighted work
-
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material
-
- Your contact information
-
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
-
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
-
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send notices to: legal@verixxa.com. Verixxa may remove or disable access to the content upon receiving a valid notice. Incomplete notices may not be processed.
4. Counter-Notice
If content is removed due to a DMCA notice and the User believes the removal was in error, the User may submit a counter-notice containing:
-
- Identification of the removed content
-
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification
-
- Consent to jurisdiction in the User’s country or Texas, USA
-
- The User’s contact information
-
- The User’s physical or electronic signature
If a valid counter-notice is received, Verixxa will follow the DMCA process, which may include restoring the content unless the rights holder confirms that legal action has been filed.
5. Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly infringe on intellectual property rights may have their accounts limited, suspended, or permanently closed. Verixxa applies a reasonable repeat-infringer policy consistent with DMCA requirements.
6. Trademark Complaints
Trademark owners may report unauthorized use of their marks by contacting: legal@verixxa.com . Verixxa may remove or limit content that misuses trademarks or misrepresents affiliation.
7. Misuse of the DMCA Process
Submitting fraudulent or bad-faith notices or counter-notices is prohibited and may result in account suspension or legal liability.
8. No Legal Advice
This Policy does not constitute legal advice. Users and rights holders should consult legal counsel regarding their rights and obligations.
9. Applicable Law
This Policy is designed to comply with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws, including the United States DMCA and comparable notice-and-takedown requirements in other regions. Nothing in this Policy limits rights granted to Users or rights holders under applicable law.
10. Updates to This Policy
Material changes to this Policy will be communicated through the application or website as required by applicable law. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
