Verixxa | Community and Safety Standards

1. Introduction 

These Community and Safety Standards form part of Verixxa’s legal and operational framework. They work alongside the Terms of Use, the Privacy and Data Policy, the Disclosure Policy and the Copyright and DMCA Policy. Users must comply with these Standards whenever they use the Verixxa Platform. 

These Standards are written to be clear and accessible so all Users can understand what is expected when participating on the Platform. 

User Opinion Disclaimer 

User Content on Verixxa reflects personal opinions and experiences. Verixxa does not verify the accuracy of User Content, does not endorse User Content and is not responsible for any harm or loss arising from User Content. 

2. Core Principles 

Verixxa is built on five principles: 

  • Safety: Users must not engage in harmful or dangerous conduct. 
  • Integrity: Content must reflect genuine experience and remain free from manipulation. 
  • Authenticity: Reviews and photos must reflect firsthand, real world experiences. 
  • Respect: Users must not engage in harassment, abuse or hate. 
  • Legal Compliance: Users and Verixxa must comply with applicable law in all regions where the Platform operates. 

3. Prohibited Content 

The following categories of content are prohibited on the Platform: 

  • Violence and threats, including encouragement of harm or praise of violent acts. 
  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation or doxxing. 
  • Hate or discrimination targeting protected characteristics. 
  • Illegal activity, including promotion of crime or fraud. 
  • Sexual content involving minors or non-consensual content. 
  • Content encouraging self-harm or suicide. 
  • Deceptive content such as fake reviews, fabricated experiences, impersonation, or AI generated text or images presented as real, firsthand experience. 
  • Fraud or commercial abuse, including scams, undisclosed incentives or attempts to manipulate affiliate systems. 
  • Intellectual property infringement including copyright or trademark misuse. 
  • Privacy violations such as publishing personal data without consent. 
  • Content supporting extremist or terrorist activity. 
  • Misleading or harmful health, safety or legal claims. 

4. Authenticity and First Hand Experience 

Verixxa requires that reviews and photos reflect genuine, personal experience. Lists and collections may include items the User has not personally visited or used and do not imply firsthand experience. Users may not fabricate or exaggerate experiences or rely on hearsay. Photos must accurately depict real locations or products without deceptive editing. Users must disclose any material connection, including employment, ownership, familial relationships or compensation received from a business. Verixxa does not investigate or verify the accuracy of User Content and treats all reviews as personal opinions. 

5. Business Integrity 

Businesses, creators and representatives must comply with the following: 

  • No offering incentives specifically for positive reviews. 
  • No suppression or pressure to remove negative reviews. 
  • Clear disclosure where employees, owners or affiliates post content. 
  • No coordinated attempts to manipulate ranking or visibility. 

Verixxa may limit, refuse or demote content that violates Platform rules or undermines trust. 

6. Platform Integrity 

Users must not: 

  • Create fake, automated or misleading accounts. 
  • Engage in spam, mass posting or repetitive promotional activity. 
  • Scrape data, harvest information or interfere with Platform systems. 
  • Manipulate or attempt to bypass affiliate monetization processes. 

Verixxa may also act on conduct not expressly listed in these Standards if it is harmful, abusive or inconsistent with the purpose of the Platform. 

7. Reporting, Enforcement and Appeals 

Users may report harmful or illegal content via in app reporting tools or by contacting report@verixxa.com . Enforcement actions include removal of content, warnings, feature limits, temporary suspension or permanent account closure. Users may appeal decisions at appeals@verixxa.com. Verixxa does not mediate disputes between Users and businesses and may decline to take action where a report concerns differences of opinion or subjective experiences. 

Notification of Enforcement Actions 
When Verixxa takes enforcement action on an account or piece of content, the User will receive an in app or email notification describing the action, unless doing so would create a safety risk, interfere with legal processes or violate applicable law. 

8. Misuse of Reporting Tools 

Users may not misuse reporting tools by submitting false reports, targeting others maliciously or attempting to remove legitimate content through coordinated complaints. Misuse of the appeals process, including repeated bad-faith appeals, may result in feature limits or account action. 

9. Regional Legal Obligations 

These Standards align with global regulatory frameworks including the EU Digital Services Act, UK Online Safety Act, US consumer protection laws, India IT Rules and similar regulations. Where regional law sets higher requirements, Verixxa will apply enhanced protections. 

10. Updates to These Standards 

Verixxa may update these Standards as legal or safety requirements evolve. Material updates will be communicated through the Platform, and the Last Updated date will reflect the current version.
